DIOPSIDE

General information

Diopside is colorless, gray, and yellowish to green. The stone is transparent to translucent with a vitreous luster.

Effect

Diopside affects both the heart and brow chakras and therefore has a twofold effect. On the one hand, the stone stimulates reason and promotes intellectual skills, analytical thinking, creativity and helps with absorbing information (study). On the other hand, the stone has a strong effect on the heart and stimulates empathy, commitment, modesty and intuition. Diopside helps in settling disputes because it facilitates forgiveness and letting go of negative emotions and stress. The stone makes you cheerful and lets you enjoy the little things in life. Physically, diopside has a positive effect on memory, inflammation, muscle pain, kidneys, the hormonal system, circulatory system and blood pressure.
