HEMATITE
General information
Hematite is a reddish-brown to blackish-gray, sometimes iridescent mineral with a metallic sheen. It is an iron oxide and the most important iron ore. Hematite is slightly magnetic but not as strong as magnetite.
Effect
Hematite has a grounding, protective, and harmonizing effect. It instills self-confidence, increases self-esteem and the will to survive, and strengthens willpower. It improves concentration and memory. It is a good stone to wear to help with addictions and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Hematite stimulates iron absorption and the formation of red blood cells. Hematite has a powerful effect on the blood and helps with circulatory problems such as anemia, hemorrhoids, and nosebleeds. It is also effective against leg cramps and insomnia.
Care
Hematite can be cleansed and charged in any way, but it must be thoroughly dried after contact with water. Otherwise, the stone may rust.
Application
Hematite can be worn on or near the body. The stone can be placed on the body where its effect is needed. It can be processed into gemstone water or an elixir using the indirect method, where the water does not come into contact with the hematite.
