HERKIMER DIAMOND

General information

Herkimer diamant is een kleurloze kwarts variant met een hexagonale structuur. De steen kan helder zijn of koolstof insluitsels bevatten. De steen dankt haar naam aan haar glans en de kleine hoekige vorm van de steen, met aan weerszijde een natuurlijk gevormde punt, welke enigszins op een diamant lijkt.
