JASPER
General information
Jasper is an impure variety of quartz. This group of stones is opaque and can exhibit various striped patterns and colors. Some common varieties include: heliotrope (green jasper with red flecks), mookaite (yellow, red, and brown tones), iron jasper, Dalmatian jasper (cream-colored base with brown and black flecks, also called Dalmatian stone), brecci jasper (marble-like reddish-brown pattern), silverleaf jasper (also called silverleaf jasper), rainbow jasper (stone with red and/or brown striped patterns), and kambaba jasper, which is also sold as elderite. Hildegard jasper is the German name for heliotrope. The stone sold as bumblebee jasper is not actually a jasper. The same applies to K2 jasper, which is actually azurite in granite.
Effect
Grounding, self-advocacy, courage, and decisiveness.
Jasper has a grounding and protective effect. The stone helps you achieve your goals and translate ideas into action. It makes you combative, decisive, persistent, and determined, and helps you commit 100%. Jasper also helps you stand up for yourself and gives you courage, makes you resilient and assertive, and reduces fear of conflict. It makes you sincere, honest, and helpful, and creates balance in body, mind, and spirit. The stone also promotes organizational skills, quick thinking, and stimulates the imagination. Jasper absorbs negative energy and thus protects against radiation, negative influences, and environmental pollution. It facilitates astral travel. Physically, the stone has a positive effect on circulation, digestion, intestines, and the reproductive organs.
Care
Jasper can be cleansed and charged in all ways.
Aplications
Jasper can be worn on or near the body for extended periods of time (it is a slow-release stone).
