KUNZITE

General information

Like hiddenite, kunzite is a form of spodumene and is purplish-pink in color. The stone is transparent to translucent with a glassy sheen.

Effect

Kunzite is a highly spiritual and protective stone. It strongly influences the heart chakra, stimulating qualities such as service, humility, tolerance, the ability to empathize with others, admit mistakes and receive criticism, surrender, and a deep commitment to something, all while helping you receive and give love. The stone promotes flexibility and independence, reduces blockages and resistance, and helps you express your feelings. This helps clear emotional baggage from both this and past lives. It has an uplifting and inspiring effect, positively influencing (bipolar) depression. It brings balance to reason and intuition. Spiritually, kunzite protects against all possible negative influences, such as negative energy, negative radiation, and negative human influences. It also promotes deep meditation. Physically, it has a positive effect on the nerves (for example, in nerve pain and neuralgia), memory, the senses, sciatica, joints, tightness in the chest, heart, and circulation. Kunzite can support weight loss if the excess weight is (partly) caused by emotions.

Kunzite should not be exposed to too much water and too much exposure to (bright) sunlight can cause the stone to discolour.

Applications

Kunzite can be worn on or near the body. The stone can be placed on the body where its effects are needed. It can be made into an elixir.
