LABRADORITE
General information
Labradorite can be colorless, gray, white, and green, with pieces exhibiting a blue, green, or yellowish sheen when polished. Spectrolite is a darker variety of labradorite. The stone is transparent to translucent. Golden labradorite is transparent and has a golden-yellow color. Hypersthene is also called velvet labradorite, but it is not a type of labradorite.
Effect
Labradorite is a highly protective and spiritual stone. It shields the energy field (aura) from negative environmental influences and people who drain energy. The stone reduces anxiety and provides strength, (self)confidence, and perseverance. It enhances intuition and mediumistic gifts. The stone connects with the subconscious and brings back forgotten memories. Labradorite stimulates imagination and creativity and helps develop ideas. The stone lowers blood pressure and has a calming effect, regulates metabolism, and has a positive effect on colds, gout, rheumatism, the eyes, and on irregular menstruation and menstrual complaints.
