LAPIS LAZULI
General information
Lapis lazuli is azure, blue-purple, pale green, or red in color. The stone is opaque with a vitreous to oily luster. Lapis lazuli consists primarily of the mineral lazurite (blue), often also containing some calcite (white), sodalite (blue), and pyrite (gold). It may also contain (traces of) augite, diopside, enstatite, mica, hornblende, and hayne.

Lapis lazuli is a highly spiritual stone. It promotes spiritual strength, spiritual abilities, astral travel, enlightenment, wisdom, and provides inner peace and tranquility. The stone promotes creativity, objectivity, and clarity of mind. It has a positive effect on friendships and romantic relationships. Lapis lazuli has a strong effect on the throat and the throat chakra (5th), encouraging you to express your opinions, emotions, and things that bother you. Physically, lapis lazuli helps with complaints of the throat, larynx, thyroid, and vocal cords. It has a positive effect on migraines, sleep problems, dizziness, stress, the immune system, hearing, and lowers blood pressure. Care
Do not clean lapis lazuli with water. This can damage the stone.
Applications
Lapis lazuli can be worn on or near the body (preferably above the midriff, for example, around the neck).
The stone can be placed on the throat or forehead.
It can be made into an elixir.
