PERIDOT

General information

Peridot is yellow-green and olive-green to dark green. The stone is translucent to transparent with a glassy sheen.

Effect

Peridot is a protective and cleansing stone. It helps you detach from the negative influences of others. It promotes independence and assertiveness, helping you forge your own path. Peridot helps you acknowledge and correct your own mistakes, as well as release guilt, conflicts of conscience, obsessions, and pent-up emotions (such as anger and jealousy). Peridot has an energizing effect, stimulates the metabolism, and has a strong detoxifying and stimulating effect on the liver. It has a positive effect on the heart, lungs, gallbladder, intestines, thymus, spleen, and eyes. Peridot has a positive effect on bipolar disorder.

Care

Peridot should not be exposed to (bright) sunlight for too long as this can cause the stone to fade.

Applications

Peridot can be worn on or near the body, preferably on the skin.
The stone can be placed on the body. This is very effective near the liver.
