RHODOCHROSITE

General information

Rhodochrosite is pink or red in color, often with white bands. The stone is transparent to translucent with a glassy sheen.

Effect

Rhodochrosite is an activating stone that strongly affects the heart and heart chakra. It makes one cheerful, lively, spontaneous, loving, enthusiastic, positive, creative, and inventive, and stimulates passion and eroticism. The stone brings universal love and helps attract romantic relationships. Because the stone has an activating and mood-enhancing effect and allows truth to surface, it is a good stone for depression, repressed emotions, irrational fears, and trauma (particularly sexual abuse). Physically, the stone also affects the heart and has a positive effect on blood and circulation, kidneys, gonads and organs, the respiratory system and asthma, migraines, and irritation.

Care

Rhodochrosite should not be exposed to too much water.

Applications

Rhodochrosite can be worn on or near the body.
Place the stone at the top of the spine (or apply it with a bandage, for example) for migraines.
Be cautious when using rhodochrosite if you have high blood pressure (this is especially true for the deep pink variety without the white).
