ZIRCON

General information

Zircon is colorless, yellowish, or brown to red (hyacinth). The stone is transparent to translucent with a vitreous to subdiamond luster. Heat treatment can create colorless, blue, green, or yellow gemstones. Zircon is not the same as artificial zirconia (diamond imitation).

Effect
