Carnelian

General information

Carnelian is an orange-red chalcedony. Sarder is a brownish carnelian. The stone is translucent with a matte to satin sheen.

Effect

Carnelian has a grounding, activating and vitalizing effect. The stone is uplifting and motivating and gives self-confidence and therefore has a positive effect on depression, apathy and confusion. It makes one steadfast, helpful, idealistic, attracts success and promotes the ability to solve problems quickly and pragmatically. Carnelian protects against negative emotions from other people such as jealousy and anger and therefore prevents abuse. The stone promotes fertility, has a positive effect on the female reproductive organs and helps with sexual problems such as frigidity and impotence. Carnelian promotes the absorption of vitamins, nutrients and minerals and stimulates the metabolism. It ensures good blood circulation to organs and tissues and has a positive effect on varicose veins and heel spurs. The stone helps with rheumatism, joint complaints and nerve pain.

Carnelian can be worn on or near the body, preferably on the skin. The stone can be made into an elixir.
