Angelite

General information

Angelite is the light blue anhydrite variety and belongs to the sulfates. The stone is opaque with a vitreous luster. Angelite is actually compressed celestite and therefore has a strong connection with the properties of this stone. Lavender anhydrite is also incorrectly called lavender angelite.

Effects

Angelite is a protective and calming stone. It promotes a sense of inner peace, connectedness, empathy, and compassion. It has a calming effect on heavy psychological stress and intense emotions. It helps you be honest and express feelings, and to accept changes and things that cannot be changed. Angelite promotes astral travel and spiritual experiences and communication (especially with angels), but also ensures that you remain well grounded. Physically, angelite has a positive effect on the kidneys and the body's water balance, fluid retention or edema, throat, inflammation, thyroid, lungs, and has a cooling effect.

Care

Do not clean angelite with water. This can damage the stone.

Applications 

Angelite can be worn on or near the body.
Angelite can be placed on the throat or worn as close as possible to it to improve communication skills or express feelings, and to help with throat and thyroid problems.
Angelite can be placed on the third eye for astral travel and to connect with angels and higher energies.
